“Rise to the Occasion”

Ecclesiastes 9:11

Solomon is letting us know that everybody get their chance, opportunity, or turn in life.

The difference between a winner and loser, or a champion and non-champion, is rising to the occasion when the time comes.

Occasion represents a suitable or opportune time for a particular thing to happen or take place.

What makes an individual able to rise to the occasion? It is their ability to possess a strong confident belief in that moment. They fully believe that they are going to win or succeed. In other words, there is no doubt in them at all. (Mark 11:22-23)

This is what faith is, having a confident belief in God. (Proverbs 3:26)

Three things you must do in having faith in God:

  1. Have Faith in His Word. (Hebrews 4:1&2) (Numbers 23:19&20)
  2. Having Faith in His Will, not your will, which represents His divine plan for your life. (Psalm 37:23) (Philippians 2:13)
  3. Having Faith in His Power. (Matthew 19:26) (Ephesians 3:20)

This will allow you to Rise to the Occasion.
