“A Higher Calling”
Philippians 3:14
In the season of a Higher Calling, there is a particular attitude that is necessary in possessing your higher calling, or elevated place, that is already set for you.
This attitude is having a willingness to press one’s way.
There are three words that describe this attitude:
- Push
-You have to have some push in yourself. This will allow you to have some get up and go in yourself at this time in your life.
-You must have a drive in you to want to get there. Having a strong self-motivation is what pushes you.
- Force (Matthew 11:12)
-Force is defined as strength or energy as an attribute of physical action or movement.
-You must be willing to take physical and spiritual action to obtain this Higher Calling.
- Aggression
-You must have some aggression in this season. You must be willing to take action. You must have boldness. You must become very assertive in a confident way, knowing that this is your time. (Luke 18:1-8)
If you possess these, which result in a press attitude, nothing will be able to stop you from entering into this Elevated Place.
