The Daily WORD by Bishop Ronald Hardy, Sr.

“It’s Time to Soar”

Philippians 3:14

It is time to soar to your rightful place, which is the place God intended for you to be.

Philippians 3:14, speaks to us, that there is a higher calling for all of us. However, in order for you to go higher, you must know that it is your time to soar.

Soar – to ascend; to fly high; to sky rocket; to increase rapidly above the usual level.

You have to first be in Christ, because this is made possible through Him, based on what He did for us on Calvary. You must accept Christ in your life to get where the Lord always intended for you to be.

There are three things that you must pay attention to soar:

  1. Your diet or what you eat. The diet of an eagle is 70% to 80% fish. Chickens eat chicken feed. An eagle will not last long on the diet of a chicken. Eagles know that they cannot eat what chickens eat, because they were made to soar. You cannot eat what chicken people eat, because it will affect your ability to soar. The word of God is designed to make us soar, and you need faith to soar. What you take in, will affect your ability to soar. (Joshua 1:8) (Psalm 1:1-3) (Romans 10:17)
  2. You must know that you are designed with limitless ability. Do not allow the status quo to define or limit you. You are designed with limitless ability in Jesus Christ. This season in your life is about maximizing your potential because it is your time to soar.
  3. You must recognize that you have a bigger purpose. Chickens are content clucking around in a chicken coop. That is enough for them. However, eagles will one day feel that burning desire to spread their wings and fly. They know that there is more than just walking around. They recognize that they were purposed to fly.

You know that there is more to you than what is going on at this time in your life. There is a bigger purpose waiting on you. This is your time to soar.
