“A Purpose Driven Moment”
Romans 8:28 Ephesians 1:11 II Timothy 1:9
This higher calling season represents a Purpose Driven Moment.
Listen to what the Word of God says concerning us. II Timothy 1:9, lets us know that He saved us to fulfill His purpose.
Ephesians 1:11, lets us know that He predetermined this purpose for us.
Romans 8:28, lets us know that everything works together for the good of those who are called according to His purpose.
Purpose – the reason for which something exists or is created.
There is a reason why you are here on this earth, and there is a reason why He saved you. Your enthusiasm, motivation, commitment and dedication should be based on His purpose. This is what it means to be purpose driven.
This is what steers or propels you by force into a specific direction.
Question: What is steering your life right now? Is it based on purpose?
Purpose is also connected to one’s position.
Position – a particular way in which something or someone is placed or arranged.
The Lord is arranging some things in your life at this time based on His purpose. Why? Because, this is a Purpose Driven Moment in your life.
It can show up in a form of a job, position, a particular situation or appointment, role, duty or function.
Whatever it is, He needs you to look at it in terms of your purpose.
Three things you must do to embrace this Purpose Driven Moment:
- Submit
-To place oneself under as to yield or surrender to Him.
-You must submit to God.
- Resist
-Ignore or withstand the actions of the devil.
- Draw nigh to God.
-Move in a steady way closer to God. (James 4:6-8)
When you do this, you are ready for this Purpose Driven Moment in your life.
