“The Revealed Will of God”
I Corinthians 2:9-14
The Apostle Paul is addressing the church at Corinth concerning the will of God.
In verses 9&10 he says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”
The Holy Spirit reveals to us the things of God or what He has prepared for us.
Reveal – to make known to others.
This is what the prophetic is about. The Lord is using that particular individual to make known to you what the Lord has in store for you.
Amos 3:7 says, “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.”
Ephesians 4:11 says, “And He gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.”
The Lord uses prophetic voices to speak His revealed will.
It can be short term or long term.
In II Kings 7:1, the Prophet Elisha spoke a word that revealed that their famine condition would be over tomorrow.
In Jeremiah 29:10&11, the Prophet Jeremiah spoke a word that revealed that after seventy years be accomplished, God would restore them back to their place, giving them a future and a hope.
Listen, the Lord has done some great things for us in 2017, and it was based on His revealed will concerning this year.
A new year is on the horizon, and in our New Year’s Eve service, I will be making known to you what the Lord has in store for us in 2018. The Lord has something in store for you in 2018. You don’t want to miss it.
It will be held at Faith Hope and Love Worship Center, 4055 Choctaw Drive, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70805 at 10:00 p.m.
