“A Pathway to Success”

Psalms 16:11

Are you on the right path at this time in your life?

Path – The course or direction in which a person or thing is moving

Are you moving in the right direction at this time in your life? It is very important for you to be heading in the right direction in the beginning of the year.

So much is tied up in you being on the right path. You can literally rob yourself of all the Lord has in store for you, if you are not on the right path.

The devil is trying to lead you down a path or road that is not good for you. And, when you look up it may be too late for you to do anything about it.

Here is a key point to ensure that you do not make this mistake:

Never base the decision to take a path on appearance. Proverbs 14:12 says, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” In other words, there is a way that appears to be right, but it ends up in disaster, ruin, destruction or defeat.

You must allow divine guidance to be the key to the path that you will take. This is what David is speaking of in Psalms 16:11 when he says, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

David understood the importance of God’s divine guidance concerning the path that he should take.

The Lord had an awesome plan and path that his people, the children of Israel, should take. The plan and path were leading to a land flowing with milk and honey.

Nehemiah 9:19 says, “Yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to shew them light, and the way wherein they should go.”

It is important that you sense his divine presence trying to lead you down the right path.
