“A Pathway to Success Part 3”
Proverbs 16:29 Proverbs 23:19
Another important key to getting on the right path is to watch the company that you keep.
Many people have good intentions in life, but they end up hanging with the wrong people. The people that you hang with can take you down the wrong path in life. This is what the writer is speaking of in Proverbs 16:29, “A violent man enticeth his neighbor, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.”
You need to pay close attention to who you are associating yourself with in the beginning of this year, because you can end up on the wrong path at this time in your life.
Listen to what the writer says in Proverbs 23:19-21, “Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way. Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: For the drunkard and glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.”
You can end up losing everything you have by hooking up with the wrong people. So, in this New Year, make sure that you associate yourself with the right people. It will be critical to the path that you will take.
Remember, there is a pathway to success for all of us.
