“The Power of Agreement”
Matthew 18:19
My word to you today is to find someone that will stand in agreement with you this year, because there is power in agreement.
Jesus makes this plain in verse 19 when He says, “Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my father which is in heaven.”
Anything that my wife and I have come in agreement with has come to pass. From starting our own business, to writing our own book and Pastoring a church. The list goes on and on.
Agreement – harmony or accordance in opinion or feeling on one accord; to unite.
The Lord says if He can find two that will operate in this vain, and petition Him, He will do it for them.
Remember this, agreement is an attitude of the heart. It is not just based on one’s words. Make sure that you find someone that has your heart to stand in agreement with you, because there is power in agreement.
