“How to Walk By Faith Part 2”
II Corinthians 5:7
Faith lives by the promises of God.
If you are truly walking by faith, you are living by the promises of God.
II Peter 1:4 says, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
The promises of God are for you, but it requires faith in action for you to possess them.
In other words, you cannot walk by faith without an action plan.
Some people will hear what God has said, and believe by faith it is theirs, but they don’t have any action toward what God has said.
James 2:17 says, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”
In verse 18, he says, “I will shew thee my faith by my works or action.”
You have to learn how to put action to what you are believing the Lord for according to His word.
The final key point to walking by faith is that you have to break free of the natural way of thinking.
I Corinthians 2:14 says, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto Him: neither can He know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
What the Lord wants to do in your life is past your natural way of thinking.
Remember, we walk by faith and not by sight.
