“Trust in the Lord”
Psalm 40:4
Today is about helping you build your trust in the Lord, because it will cause you to reap great benefits.
What does it means to trust in Him?
Trust – to have a firm reliance on the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing; to have a confidence or belief in.
Why is this so important? Because, trust causes you to be at rest.
This rest will cause you to be at peace no matter what is going on in your life.
Psalms 37:3-7 speaks to the power of trust. When you are at rest, it will cause you to be able to patiently wait on God, because you are confident that He will come through for you.
Psalms 31:19 says, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men.”
God’s goodness is released in the lives of those who trust Him. The Lord is saying, “If I can get you to trust me, I can really bless your life.” Trust in the Lord.
