“Learning to Depend on the Faithfulness of God”

Psalms 89:33       Psalms 119:90

God is faithful. We, as His children, must learn how to depend on His faithfulness, because there will be times in all our lives that we must look to His faithfulness to bring us through.

In Psalms 89:33, He assures David that He would not suffer His faithfulness to fail him.

I have faced many situations in life that only His faithfulness brought me through. It was nothing I could deal with on my own.

Here are some key things that we can depend on as it relates to His faithfulness.

  1. We know that He is faithful to His word. Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken and shall He not make it good?”

You can rely on His word. He is faithful to His word.

  1. He is faithful to the righteous or His children. Psalms 34:19-20 says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” He is faithful to bring you out. No matter what you may go through, please know that the Lord will bring you out of it.

My word to you today is to rest in His faithfulness, because He will never suffer His faithfulness to fail thee.
