The Daily Word by Bishop Ronald Hardy, Sr.

“God is Able”

Matthew 19:26

We must know that we serve a God that is able or capable of doing whatever we need Him to do.

This is why Jesus spoke these words to His disciples in Matthew 19:26, “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

So, there is nothing that God cannot do, fix or turnaround if we are willing to trust Him at his word.

So, I have two questions for you. Do you believe that God is able? Are you willing to trust Him at His word?

In Matthew 9:28 – 30, Jesus said unto the blind men, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” He was referring to opening or healing their eyes.

However, he is asking you the same question today. Do you believe that He is able to do what you need Him to do in your life?

In verse 29, He touched their eyes, and said unto them, “According to your faith be it unto you.” Verse 30 reveals that their eyes were opened.

So, it is important for us to believe that He is able.

Here is the mindset that I want to inspire you to have.

  • There is nothing too hard for the Lord. I believe that He is able, because there is nothing too hard for the Lord.

In my final word to you today, in II Timothy 1:12 Paul said, “For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.

Remember that God is able.
