“Rejoice in the Lord”
The word of God says in Philippians 4:4 to rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice.
Rejoice – to experience joy and gladness.
Notice that the writer tells us to rejoice in the Lord, and not in our circumstances or situation.
When you rejoice, it will ignite a joy in you.
I want you to begin your day with rejoicing. Psalms 118:24 says, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
This will give you the right attitude to start off your day.
The word of God also says that the joy of the Lord is our strength. True joy releases energy to carry you through the day.
Rejoicing also sends out a positive message or response in a negative situation. It gives you the ability to stand in the midst of the situation, knowing that the Lord will see you through.
II Corinthians 2:14 assures us of this. It says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ.”
Joy is a sustaining force in our lives. It gives us the ability to not faint or give up before He manifests the victory in our lives.
Remember to rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.
