“The Lord Can Do What Man Cannot Do”
Matthew 19:26
Jesus is making it known to His disciples that with man it is impossible, but with God all things are possible or capable of happening.
We must take the limits off of God, because He can do what man cannot do.
Why is this so important? Because even though He can do what cannot naturally be done, He can be limited by your ability to believe or release your faith.
Let’s look at two examples of this in the word. In Matthew 9:27-31, the two blind men believed that He was able, and they received their sight.
In Matthew 13:53-58, He could not do many miracles there, because of their unbelief. So, they limited Him, because of their lack of belief.
Do not allow this to happen to you. All things are possible to him who believes.
You may be faced with a situation or circumstance that may not naturally be fixed, but it can be fixed or changed by God. For with God, all things are possible.
This is why the song writer says, “Let Jesus fix it for you. He knows just what to do. Whenever you pray, let Him have His way, and He will fix it for you.”
