“You Can Be Successful”
Joshua 1:8
According to scripture, success in life is God’s idea. In Joshua 1:8, He tells Joshua, “for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
So, you need to know that God wants you to succeed. Success is the progression toward a predetermined worth-while goal.
You need to have some predetermined goals that you are focused on. So, let’s look at how to open the doors to success.
You must develop certain characteristics to be successful. Successful people:
- Work to improve their self-image. They focus on making themselves better first.
- Learn how to stand under stress or pressure. In other words, they don’t fold under hard times.
- Know how to turn a crisis into an opportunity.
- Are skilled at handling discouraging moments along the way.
Joshua was faced with all of this along the way to the promise. He was able to experience the success that the Lord intended for him to have, because of his ability to make adjustments along the way.
