The Daily WORD by Bishop Ronald Hardy, Sr.

“I Was Destined for This”

Ephesians 1:11                Romans 8:28-31

You will walk into your destiny in this season. The Lord is bringing you into some things that He predetermined for your life. (Jeremiah 1:5)

Say this with me today, “I was destined for this!”

This is what Joseph was saying in Genesis 50:19, “I am in the place of God.” In other words, “This is what God predetermined for my life.”

This is the power of destiny. It is what you were predetermined to be and have. That is why no one can stop your destiny, but you. (Romans 8:30&31) It doesn’t matter who is against you. God is for you, and He is the one that has predetermined this for your life.

Sometimes God will take some negative situations to get you into your fulfilled destiny. Ask Joseph about it. He used betrayal, false accusations and a prison dungeon experience to help set him up for His God-ordained destiny.

Ephesians 1:11 says, “In whom we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.”

We are in His predetermined will, and there is an inheritance for every one of us. There is a predetermined assignment for every one of us.

This is your season to step into what God has destined for your life, but you must know that you were destined for it.

In my closing, here is what destiny is defined as:

Destiny – the events that will happen to a particular person or thing in the future; a predetermined course of events.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

You were destined for this!
