“Have Faith in His Word” Pt. 2
Hebrews 10:23
The Lord is faithful to keep His word.
You must know that if He said it, He will do it. And, if He spoke it, He will make it good.
You need to maintain your faith in His word. This brings me to the second key to having faith in His word. You must continue to hear it. (Please refer to “Have Faith in His Word” Pt.1 for the first key)
Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
It is a powerful thing to hear something more than once.
Eventually it will sink in, or become a reality to you.
There are times where the Lord will purposely say something to us more than once to fully establish it in our hearts.
When we hear something for the first time, it may not sink in, or become a reality at the time. However, the more that we hear it, it will eventually sink in, or become real to us. This is why you must stay in the place of hearing His word.
Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate there in day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written there in: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Staying in the place of hearing God’s word also allows you to retain it. This allows you to hold on to your faith until the manifestation comes.
