The Daily WORD by Bishop Ronald Hardy, Sr.

“The Blessing of Faith”

Joshua 3:1-5

Why is it impossible to please God without faith? Because, faith causes us to see like God wants us to see.

In Hebrews 11:2, the elders won God’s approval, because they saw like God wanted them to see. Because they were able to see like God wanted them to see, they were able to receive what God wanted them to have.

When you see like God wants you to see, you will receive what God wants you to have.

See – to perceive.

Your perception of things can be off when you are not seeing properly.

See – to visualize.

Faith causes us to visualize what God has for us.

See – to look at.

You are no longer looking at what God has for you when you lose your faith.

See – to discern.

Your discernment of things can be off when you lose your faith, which will cause you to get off track.

The opposite of faith is fear and doubt. Fear and doubt cause us to see like the devil wants us to see. This is why he attacks our faith.

This is the importance of maintaining our faith.

It is important to stay plugged in to the source of our faith. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

The more we hear the word of God, the more our faith is increased and stabilized. This is what inspired me to start writing the Daily Word. The word of God is the source of our faith.

The Blessing of Faith.
