“I Have Set Before You an Open Door”
Revelation 3:7&8
When the Lord opens a door for you, no man can shut it.
Revelation 3:7 let us know that He opens doors that no man can shut, and shuts doors no man can open.
In verse 8 He says, “behold, I have set before thee an open door.”
He opens the door, but it is up to you to walk through the open door.
Open – to make accessible or available; to unfasten or unlock; opportunity or to have liberty.
The word has come to you to let you know that what was seemingly held up in the past is no longer held up anymore, because God has opened the door. Luke 11:9-10 says, “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”
He knows that you have been knocking at this particular door for some time now, but now it is open. You just have to walk through it. Why? Because, He has set before you an open door.
It is the Lord’s doing. Therefore, it should be marvelous in your eyes.
