“Faith is the Source of Your Expectation”
Hebrews 11:1
Your faith is the key to your expectancy. Small faith; small expectancy. Great faith; great expectancy.
Faith is what builds expectancy in us. Faith is the source of our expectancy. In Matthew 9:18-22, the woman with the issue of blood had faith to be healed when she heard that Jesus was passing by. She said within herself, “If I may but touch the hem of His garment I shall be made whole.” After receiving her healing, Jesus said to her, “Thy faith has made thee whole.”
In Psalms 62:5 David said, “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him.” When you find truth in God’s word that applies to a particular area of your life, release your faith for it, because the degree to which you can believe is the degree you can receive.
That is why the word of God says, “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”
The more you hear the word of God, the greater your faith will be. The greater your faith is, the greater your expectancy will be.
Remember, faith is the source of your expectancy.
