“Let Your Actions Line Up With Your Words”

James 2:14-18

You can’t say one thing and do another. Your actions must line up with your words.

James 2:18 says, “Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” This scripture shows that faith is an action word.

Romans 4:17-19 says, “As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb.”

Abraham put action to what he believed even though it did not look good in the natural. That is why the bible says that we walk by faith and not by sight.

In other words, it’s not based on how it looks in the natural. It is based on the promise of His word.

So, let your actions line up with your words. This can only be done through the power of faith.

My question to you today is: Are you willing to take that step of faith?
